You'll work directly with company leadership, have a voice in how projects are run, and be surrounded by a team that wants to see each other succeed.<h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">What You'll Own</h2><ul><li>Lead daily field operations on civil construction projects</li><li>Coordinate crews, equipment, and materials</li><li>Read and interpret plans and specifications</li><li>Set grade and verify work quality</li><li>Oversee installation of sewer, water, storm drain, and underground utilities</li><li>Operate heavy equipment as needed</li><li>Maintain safe, productive jobsites</li><li>Communicate with Project Managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and customers</li><li>Train and develop crew members</li><li>Identify problems early and help implement solutions</li><li>Take ownership of project outcomes</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">What We're Looking For</h2><ul><li>5+ years of civil construction experience</li><li>Previous foreman or crew leadership experience</li><li>Experience reading plans and specifications</li><li>Experience setting grade</li><li>Underground utility installation experience</li><li>Heavy equipment operating experience</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills</li><li>Valid driver's license</li></ul><h3>Bonus Points For</h3><ul><li>CDL</li><li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30</li><li>Trench safety and shoring experience</li><li>Commercial site development experience</li><li>Roadway construction experience</li><li>Striping experience</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Why Tom's Backhoe?</h2><h3>You'll Have Real Influence</h3>At larger companies, decisions often move slowly and good ideas get buried.At Tom's, your input matters.
